Matchups[edit]

Chel[edit]

  • At max range cr.M hits through crush breeze (2-hit dp) (To confirm since hurtbox was changed in the 04/08/2015 update)
  • Dancing Wind goes through fireballs
  • Sweep is not safe. Sweep ->fireball is not a true blockstring.
  • f.M jumps over fireballs.

Edge[edit]

  • f.M jumps over run slide (not hitting) and might hit overhead before overhead hits.
  • Edge is kinda free to crossups
  • Be wary of run overhead resets.
  • Shoot fireballs very sparingly, especially when he's got super.
  • Shoot fast fireballs to fuck up his absorb timing.
  • Jump back makes run overhead whiff
  • His run slide hits in about 10f from midscreen. Yeah. And it's 100% safe. Maybe you can throw. Maybe.
  • Run overhead hits in about 8 frames from the moment he presses M. he can probably overhead in 10/12f point blank.
  • Just jump all around the place, pressure him with shit like f.H cancels and buttons from close range. Block high as soon as you're out of cr.L range.

Dauntless[edit]

  • Punish Cold Drill on block with L xx SW
  • Diesel Strike is safe on block, albeit -.
  • Poke with M/H
  • Fireballs! When she's afraid of cold drilling.
  • She can super your fireballs on reaction.
  • You can bait super from at least 3/4 screen with fireball backdash cancel block. Punish with f.H.
  • She can punish the last hit of SW on block.
  • Jump high night sun to make dust breaker whiff, it has a lot of recovery so you can punish hard (at least cl.H, maybe f.H? maybe even jump in?). It's a gimmick.
  • Beware of reset into crossup in corner.
  • Beware of Vandal Hook -> Throw
  • Beware of her cr.M range it goes FAR.
  • Beware of overhead combo. Can come up from far away. Most will vandal / revolving afterwards as it's not safe. Punish accordingly. (H?)

Talos[edit]

  • Combine fireballs, AA H, M, DP to keep away.
  • Be wary of grab resets.
  • Chel's super beats talos' if done just before talos'.
  • You can break talos's f.H (armor kick) mashing jab. 2 jabs do it.
  • Talos's dash ducks under Chel's H

Crow[edit]

  • Air sliceh is safe, don't mash afterwards.
  • Blocked Soul cleaver (double hit wallbounce S2.2) might be punished by f.H
  • Fast fireballs can hit him out of disk startup a lot.
  • Crow has no reversal except invisibility. No aa either. Go in and go ham.

Vlad[edit]

  • Far cr.H beats his dp.
  • Far cr.H beats Clobbering rush.
  • cr.H / H distance is a good distance for you since you can just shower him with Hs.
  • Sputnik torpedo has 3s cooldown.
  • Cosmonaut liftoff (dp) has 4s cooldown.
